Thanks for all the good thoughts and energy you sent,
After 4.5 days in the hospital, my little furry pal finally came home. Napoleon is now a high maintenance pet. No more just leaving him home by himself all day with a bowl of food and water.Twice a day, I have to: take his blood glucose level, give him 5 pills, give him insulin, feed him, check his urine ketones and glucose. If I don't do any one of these things, he might die. Vacations will be difficult either since whomever watches him will also have to do these things. Napoleon likes me, so he actually let me do all these things to him with very little fuss, but I can't see him tolerating anyone else without scratches and bites.
