QotD: Pinching Pennies
What are you doing to save money during this economic downslide?

The obvious answer is to not buy as much stuff, which is so hard, I cannot bypass a bargain.
Tim and I made a list of vegetables we want to plant in our much bigger MACHINE PLOWED garden (approx. 15 feet x 30 feet now, thanks to Tim's landlords), if we grow all the things we planned, we will not have to buy vegetables other than things that grow on trees ever again.
I'm also learning to sew, which doesn't really save much money. But I can always buy fabric from JoAnn's or deconstruct old clothing to save.
